Your Role as a BCBA
As a BCBA at Symphony ABA, you’ll be responsible for designing individualized ABA therapy programs tailored to each child’s unique needs. You will supervise and guide Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensuring high-quality therapy delivery. Collaborating closely with families, you’ll provide training and support to help them reinforce progress and achieve meaningful, long-term outcomes. Your expertise will directly shape positive growth, communication, social skills, and independence in children diagnosed with autism
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure treatment consistency across settings
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral and skills assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS, FBA) to identify the function of challenging behaviors and the client's current skill levels
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide caregiver training to ensure treatment goals are generalized across settings
- Oversee the implementation of ABA strategies to teach clients skill acquisition and replacement behavior goals
- Observe, train, and supervise behavior technicians in a professional and effective manner
- An active BCBA certification and state licensure
- Experience in creating meaningful goals and individualized treatment plans
- Strong leadership skills to teach and implement behavior plans effectively
- proficient in the application of ABA principles
